4. Use of the Service

CreateMold allows users to upload files, adjust design settings, generate previews, create digital outputs, and download generated files. You agree to use the service only for lawful, permitted, and appropriate purposes.

You agree not to:

5. Uploaded Content

You may upload images, artwork, drawings, SVG files, PNG files, JPG files, STL files, or other content to CreateMold. You retain ownership of the content you upload, subject to the license you grant us in these Terms.

By uploading content to CreateMold, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own the uploaded content or have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use it
  • Your uploaded content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, design right, patent, trade secret, privacy right, publicity right, or other third-party right
  • Your uploaded content does not violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Your uploaded content does not contain harmful code, malware, or unlawful material

You are solely responsible for all content you upload and all outputs generated from your uploaded content.

6. License You Grant to CreateMold

By uploading content to CreateMold, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, modify, convert, display, and generate outputs from your uploaded content solely as necessary to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service.

This license allows us to process your files, generate previews, create downloadable files, troubleshoot technical issues, provide customer support, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not claim ownership of your uploaded content. Unless you give us permission, we will not publicly display your private uploaded files for marketing or promotional purposes.

7. Generated Outputs

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may use the files generated through CreateMold for personal or commercial purposes, unless otherwise stated on a specific product page, feature, plan, or written agreement.

You are responsible for reviewing generated outputs before using them. CreateMold does not guarantee that generated files will be error-free, suitable for a specific material, compatible with every slicer, compatible with every 3D printer, or suitable for every manufacturing process.

Generated files may require additional adjustments, testing, resizing, repair, slicing, or optimization before production.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

CreateMold, including its website, interface, software, design tools, workflows, algorithms, branding, logos, visual elements, text, features, and platform technology, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of CreateMold, our software, our technology, our brand, or our intellectual property.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on CreateMold or its underlying technology unless expressly permitted by us in writing.

9. Third-Party Intellectual Property

CreateMold is a user-directed tool. We do not verify that every uploaded image, logo, drawing, artwork, character, brand, or design belongs to the uploading user.

You must not upload or generate files based on copyrighted works, trademarks, brand logos, protected characters, patented designs, registered designs, or other protected materials unless you have the legal right to do so.

If you believe that content on CreateMold infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at hello@createmold.com with sufficient information for us to review your claim.

10. Payments, Credits, and Subscriptions

Some CreateMold features may require payment, credits, a paid plan, or a subscription. Prices, included features, usage limits, credit amounts, renewal terms, and billing cycles may be shown at checkout or inside your account dashboard.

By purchasing credits, a plan, or a subscription, you authorize us or our third-party payment processor to charge the applicable fees, taxes, and recurring charges where applicable.

Credits may be consumed when generating previews, creating files, downloading files, using premium tools, or accessing paid features. Unless otherwise stated, credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and may not be resold.

We may change pricing, plans, features, credit rules, or subscription terms from time to time. Changes will not affect completed purchases unless required by law or stated otherwise.

11. Free Trials and Promotional Offers

We may offer free trials, free credits, promotional discounts, beta access, or limited-time offers. These offers may be subject to additional terms, limits, expiration dates, or eligibility requirements.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel promotional offers at any time, including in cases of abuse, fraud, duplicate accounts, technical misuse, or violation of these Terms.

12. Refund Policy

Because CreateMold provides digital services, file generation, downloadable digital outputs, and credit-based access, payments are generally non-refundable once credits are used, files are generated, downloads are accessed, or digital services have been delivered.

We may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Refunds may be granted at our discretion where required by law, where there is a verified billing error, or where a technical issue caused a failure that we are unable to reasonably resolve.

Subscription cancellations stop future renewals but do not automatically refund previous charges unless required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise.

To request a refund review, contact us at hello@createmold.com.

13. Taxes

Prices may not include applicable taxes, duties, VAT, sales tax, or other governmental charges unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes or charges applicable to your purchase, location, business status, or use of the service.

We may collect taxes where required by law or through our payment providers.

14. Digital Files and Manufacturing Responsibility

CreateMold provides digital tools and downloadable files. We do not guarantee physical production results. Actual results may vary depending on printer type, slicer settings, nozzle size, filament, resin, clay, silicone, material shrinkage, wall thickness, scale, temperature, calibration, and other production conditions.

You are responsible for testing files before commercial production or final use. You are also responsible for ensuring that any generated file is safe, appropriate, and suitable for your intended use.

CreateMold is not responsible for failed prints, material waste, production delays, business losses, customer claims, injury, or damage caused by your use of generated files.

15. Beta Features and Experimental Tools

Some features may be released as beta, experimental, early access, or preview tools. These features may be incomplete, unstable, inaccurate, or subject to change.

We may modify, limit, suspend, or remove beta features at any time without liability.

16. Service Availability

We aim to keep CreateMold available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, hosting issues, technical failures, third-party provider issues, security incidents, or events beyond our control.

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit any part of the service at any time.

17. Third-Party Services

CreateMold may integrate with or link to third-party services, including payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, email providers, slicer software, 3D printer software, storage services, or other external platforms.

We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their content, their terms, their privacy practices, or any damage or loss caused by your use of them.

18. User Feedback

If you submit feedback, ideas, suggestions, feature requests, bug reports, or improvement proposals, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation to you.

We may use feedback to improve CreateMold, develop new features, modify existing tools, or create new products.

19. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to CreateMold if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You misuse the service or attempt to bypass limits
  • Your payment fails or is disputed
  • Your account is involved in fraud, abuse, security risk, or unlawful activity
  • We are required to do so by law or legal process
  • Continuing to provide the service creates risk for us, our users, or our platform

Upon termination, your right to use the service will stop immediately. We may delete or restrict access to your account, uploaded files, generated files, and related data, subject to our legal, accounting, security, and backup obligations.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

CreateMold is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The service will meet your expectations or requirements
  • Generated files will be accurate, printable, commercially suitable, or error-free
  • The service will be uninterrupted, secure, or available at all times
  • Any defects or errors will be corrected
  • Files will remain available indefinitely

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CreateMold and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, production time, materials, business opportunities, or customer claims.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid to CreateMold for the service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the claim arose, or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

22. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CreateMold and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of CreateMold
  • Your uploaded content
  • Your generated files or physical products made from generated files
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any law or regulation
  • Your infringement or alleged infringement of third-party rights
  • Your misuse of the service or unauthorized access to another account or system

23. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe that content available through CreateMold infringes your copyright, trademark, design right, patent, or other intellectual property rights, please contact us at hello@createmold.com.

Your notice should include:

  • Your name and contact information
  • A description of the protected work or right
  • A description or location of the allegedly infringing content
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate
  • Your physical or electronic signature

We may remove or restrict access to content that we believe may infringe third-party rights and may terminate accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate.

24. Export Control and Sanctions

You agree not to use CreateMold in violation of applicable export control laws, trade restrictions, sanctions laws, or regulations. You may not use the service if you are located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you are listed on a restricted-party list.

25. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using CreateMold, you acknowledge that we may collect, use, and process personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

26. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

If changes are material, we may provide additional notice, such as by email, account notice, or website notification. Your continued use of CreateMold after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

27. Governing Law
